stadium in a contest greatly spotted by ragged play ing the lehigh nine humbled ursinus by the score of 1 1 3 this was the second game for the visitors and the fifth for the local clan last satur day the ursinus team trounced the philadelphia school of tex tiles 4-2 while lehigh was trim ming dickinson 9-3 brady started on the mound for the homesters while derk affair and his arrival is one of the big events in the day before house party begins this pro fessor is an egyptologist who is of course very eccentric and absent minded the predica ments that he finds himself in at the arrival of some phalanx of bristling bats against the inva ders that quite altered the con on page 4 col 3 course of the old ball game in two innings the wild slugging orgy continued to the tune of healthy cracks of the willows and feet pounding the paths ursinus brought a squad of eighteen men including the managers to stop the mad lehigh rush the entire squad with the exception of the man ager was pressed into yoeman service this evening has been set as the time for the opening cur tain of coil-egypt in the au ditorium of liberty high school the production of the thirty-eighth annual mustard and cheese show has required the spare time of some seventy five men and will undoubtedly prove one of the finest college productions of the year the scenario which was writ ten by e d griffenberg 26 and j m mckinnon 28 deals with the present day american college the fraternity of chi delta is preparing for a house party of the 1926 style and the predicaments which ensue when a couple of more or less unex pected to hear the informal lecture about the latin poet by prof h w wright at the beaux arts meeting wednesday night virgil was revealed as one of the outstanding poets of all time and his aeneid the long epic of the trojan hero one of the greatest works of the lan guage before discussing the aeneid itself prof wright made a brief sketch of roman history . lead ing up to the augustan age in which
