evening when the sophomore cotillion club gave its second dance of the year in drown hall this event was a successful be ginning for the initial social func tion which will without a doubt now be made an annual college affair the dance was one of the most sueoessful that the cotillion club has given in a number of years about seventy couples were in attendance including an exception ally large number of upper class men and alumni dancing started at nine o'clock and continued until an early hour in the morning the floor in drown hall was prettily decorated with college banners and pennants and a re freshing profusion of palms an orchestra of nine pieces furnished the music and fine refreshments were served by steward matthews important meeting of junior class there will be a short but very important meeting of the junior mass in saueon hall at 12 o'clock monday may 2nd every man should be present scrub team plays first game in well played game bethlehem prep wins score 3-2 the first game on the scrub schedule was played last wednes day afternoon against the bethle hem prep school nine who won by the score of 3-2 the game was interesting from start to finish and the lehigh
