all sketches to be handed to mosquera or gil more 07 the matter of getting up an epitome is no little job and requires not only the work of the board of editors but the help of the co'lege at large any gag sketch or liter ary production wi 1l1 l be gladly ac cepted and given a square deal calendar ' tuesday nov 14 at 4.30 p m cheering practice i wednesday nov 15 at 2p m minstrel show rehearsal in christ mas hall at 2.30 p m scrub game on lehigh field at 7.30 p m c e meeting in saucon hall thursday nov 16 at 4.30 p m cheering practice at 7.30 p m arts and science club meets in saucon hall at 7.30 p m e e society meets in physical laboratory friday nov 17 at 11 a m col lege lecture the art of making inventions by e j prindle esq 90 at 4.30 p m cheering prac tice saturday nov 18 foot bal game lehigh vs ursinus on le high field monday nov 20 advance sale of seats for lafayette game begins lehigh loses to dickinson lehigh was defeated by dickin son on saturday at cai lisle by the score of 18-0 the game was a hard contest from start to finish in which dickinson's luck figured prominent ly in the first half neither side scored although with two more minutes of play lehigh would un doubtedly have crossed the line in the second half dickinson braced considerably scoring three touch downs in a few minutes after that lehigh braced outplaying d:ckin on in every point for the re eiainder of the game dickinson kicked to stocker who ran the ball back ten yards lehigh made several first downs but was held ; herman punted and lawyer fell on simpson's fumble lehigh fumbled on next play dickinson got the ball and rushed it to the thirty-yard line where davis tried for a goal from placement but failed herman punted out and in a scrimmage lawyer got the ball gains by pyne bachman lawyer and penalties for offside play brought the ball into dickinson's territory a penalty of five yards forced herman to punt and lehigh was again penalized for touching iball lehigh held and davis was fforced to punt brumbaugh getting the ball dickinson held and her man punted to robinson who ad vanced five yards dickinson ad vanced twenty yards on hard jp'unges and short runs until the thirty-five-yard line where lehigh field with third down and three yards to gain herman took the ball for a twenty-five yard run stocker bachman pyne lawyer and gott on short gains carried the ball to the fifteen-yard line when timewas called at the rate lehigh was going a touchdown would have re sulted in a few minutes between halves dickinson's root ers paraded up and down the field headed by the co : lege band the second half opened with le siigh kicking to dickinson craemer advanced five yards lehigh held for two downs when davis on s fake kick made twenty yards on three rushes a first down was made davis again made twenty yards being downed by brumbaugh brumbaugh's shoulder was hurt and sheridan was substituted after several short gains dickinson shoved davis over for a touch down davis kicked a difficult goal score 6-0 davis kicked to bachman who advanced ten yards on the next play dickinson forced pyne to fum ble craemer getting the ball dick inson was penalized fifteen ards for the offense and given the ball with twenty yards to gain robin son was given the ba 1 l and ran for thirty-five yards being finally brought to the ground by gott on a similar play robinson went over continued on third page
