robert w hall assistant professor of biology first game an easy victory lehigh opened her foot ball sea son saturday defeating albright by the score of 37 to o to the student body the game was far fiom gratifying as ragged team work and frequent fumbling pre vented a much larger score coach newton has been severely handi capped by the fact that last year's band of veterans is almost entirely depleted by graduation and other causes and the new men must be broken in of the latter there are quite a number who showed up very well indeed and with the aid of dr newton's skillful handling will no doubt improve markedly the season is young as yet and it is too early to prophesy much but from the work of the team put in in the second half it is safe to con clude that we will have a winning team this year
