the trustees of the university of pennsylvania have appropriated 210,000 with which to begin work on the new dormitories they are to be built on the single house plan will cost about 1,000 000 and will cover twenty-five acres a football team has been organ ized at yale with treadway who rowed on the crew as captain the team will take a trip to many of the minor colleges and play a num ber of athletic club elevens football princeton 32 ; lehigh o the second game between prince ton and lehigh was played on the princeton grounds yesterday it had rained all day but just before the game began cleared off still the grounds were in a bad condi tion and neither team showed what they are capable of doing twenty five and twenty minute halves were played the game began about 3 p m with the ball in princeton's hands lea kicked off and thurston caught gaining 5 yards the ball soon went to princeton on downs and was rapidly advanced up the field by barnett wheeler and reiter then wheeler went be tween right tackle and guard for the first touchdown trench ard kicking the goal score : 6-0 ; time 4 minutes fitzgerald kicked and poe caught the ball gaining some ground here princeton was given 10 yards for off side play the ball was slowly pushed up the field princeton always making their dis tance houston got reiter on a fine tackle for a loss of 3 yards but in 5 minutes edwards took the ball over the line for the second touchdown trenchard kicked goal score 12-0 on the third kick-off edwards caught the ball and made a good gain here budd was hurt and becerra took his place while an drews went in as full back for princeton taking edwards place princeton failed to gain and the ball went to lehigh on downs trafton made a small gain but fitz was soon forced to kick poe got it but made no gain best tackled reiter and barnett beau tifully when they tried to get around his end but here beef wheeler tried the line and made 7 yards lea interfered well and reiter made a fine run of 85 yards around okeson's end the ball was now near lehigh's . goal and barnett soon made another touch down from which trenchard kick ed a goal time 5 minutes score : 18-0 at this point harrison was in jured trafton moved to half back and dick took his place in the line for princeton vorhis took reiter's place fitzgerald kicked off again poe caught and dodging well brought the ball back toward the centre andrews made 10 yards around okeson's end then barnett went around best for twenty more hav ing excellent interference here they stopped gaining and the ball went to lehigh on four downs smith downed thurston for no gain then fitz kicked but the ball was blocked and rolled back over our line : church falls on it and the last touch down in the half was made time 18 5 minutes goal was kicked score : 24-0 on the kick-off poe caught the ball and aided by good interfer ence and dodging brought it to the centre of the field barnett made 30 yards around best but here lehigh was given the ball for holding on the 5-yard line fitz gerald kicked and barnett caught they lost it on the 10 yard line on a fumble fitz went through the centre for 5 yards then kicked and barnett got the ball on the 40-yard line when time was called score : 240 in the second half lehigh took a big brace and at the same time princeton put on some more sub stitutes this gave our crippled team a show and it held them down to 8 points eh odes took wheeler's place fulton played left half a short time and bannard went in full-back replacing an drews on the kick-off poe caught and gained 20 yards by good dodging lehigh was given the ball for holding,fitz kicked and lehigh was again given the ball for holding we soon lost it however and for several minutes the ball went up and down the field being kicked repeatedly lehigh got the ball on downs fitzgerald fumbled and lea downed him for a loss of 10 yards princeton's ball ; bannard kicked and the ball rolled over the line making a touch back lehigh brought ball to 25 yard line more kicking was 1 - indulged in until princeton got the ball for holding then barnett made a touch down after a pretty run of 25 yards around best's end no goal score 28-0 in the kick-off poe caught the ball but best nailed him on the spot bannard made a 60 yard kick fitzgerald catching it we kicked and they lost the ball on 4 downs trying to buck our line we kicked poe got it but was tackled by dick no gain yorhis made 12 yards and then was shoved over the line for a touchdown no goal score : 32-0 ;
