arcadia's approval of disciplinary probation covering the entire stu dent body and the new arcadia constitution promise to be the im portant issues in student council elections monday tuesday and wednesday fifteen men — only half the number that ran last year — are vying for the seven elected po sitions on arcadia the various extra-curricular activities ap pointed the other eight mem bers juniors who ran last year and were discouraged and the fact that many students who had planned to run this year were appointed by activity groups were given as reasons for the low number of candidates several candidates have indicated they wish the 14th arcadia to take action to prevent further destruc tive action by students at the lafayette football game others state they would like to see a stronger arcadia which can achieve a closer relationship with both students and faculty in a letter to the student body the 13th arcadia ex plained the changes in the new constitution stating the ma
