petriuo russell schumacher william f eberhart jr was elected president of residence halls council for the coming year at rhc's regular tuesday night meeting in a contested three-way battle for the presidency eberhart de feated anthony garro and john heiss for the top rhc post all candidates were juniors and residents of mcclintic-marshall house eberhart's victory came on the second ballot after he and garro had deadlocked on the first vote rhc also elected louis garfinkle vice-president for the 1959-60 year garfinkle was opposed by myron olstein henry pupke and sig mund silber albert meier was elected secretary by unanimous acclimation after running unopposed following the elections council heard dravo house president james rice declare that freshmen are still bitter toward rhc we feel
