fraternity system and lehigh university any further breaches of this rule by this or any other lehigh fraterni ty will be severely dealt with the ifc constitution authorizes the committee to fine up to 100 or prohibit house representation or both refusal of the merchants directlj involved to cooperate with arcadic in promoting the plan was responsi ble for the decision to drop it the merchants felt that such a system would hurt store owners not part of it gayle williams 54 had sent a let ter to several proprietors in it he asked them to grant card bearers discounts in return they would re ceive publicity williams discussed the plan with an official of the bethlehem chamber of commerce who in formed him that those involved had turned it down not because or a possible loss of profit to themselves but because of in jury that might result to other stores operations the plan for extending wlrn ra dio coverage calls for installation of transmitters in individual houses or groups of houses paul sichert 55 station manager and james peterman 54 adviser or electronics to the station estimated the cost of installation at 1500 ser vice cost the following year would be 725 robert in taylor hall af ter locking the student in his room by means of a hanger connected from the door handle to the wood work a large box of garbage and trash was placed against the door forcing the transom open the delinquent group then threw water into the room spilling . much of it in the hallway the same evening a general dis turbance also took place in taylor when the lights went out throughout the building yelling out the win dows and lighting flares the group caused a raucus for a few minutes several firecrackers were thrown into the quad during the commotion rev casserly to speak at chapel 11 a.m sunday preregistration for the spring semester begins nov 9 and continues through nov 14 in accordance with regulations released by registrar james h wagner first of all you should give some thought to what you would like to take in advance so that your preregistration will be a final one with the possible exception of your failing courses at the end of the semes ter as social sciences and man's pain and god's goodness ordained a priest in 1934 he also studied at the london school of economics and holds a degree in philosophy and psychology at kings college london during the war years dr casserly served a group of rural parishes in the diocese of exe ter retaining pastoral charge of two parishes there until 1952 in recent years he was called to head the
