Vol. 24 — No. 19 FEBRUARY 16, 1982 BETHLEHEM, PA. Trackmen Continue To Win /V 'AX 29- Yr. WreM&nle Streak Ends Matmen Bow To Middies Lehigh's long-shot chance of gaining a 30th consecutive winning wrestling season vanished last Saturday at Annapolis during a 35-10 loss at the hands of Navy. With one dual meet remaining, Saturday at Syracuse, the Engineers are 5-6-1 and in need of a victory to avoid their first losing campaign since 1945. They were 5-5 in 1952 before the string of 29 straight winning seasons began. They'll be underdogs against the Orangemen, as they were against the Midshipmen, and Coach Thad Turner can only hope for a miracle of considerable proportions. Not only was his team pounded at Navy, but Rich Santoro and Tommy Bold came out of the test with shoulder injuries (Continued on Page 2) NAVY-35, LEHIGH-10 118—Bob Weaver (L) dec.
