"French Science and Technology in the 18th and 19th Centuries," displayed in Bayer Galleria, Linderman, 1 to 5 p.m. daily. French Cuisine Common Bonds Fragile Relationships Thursday, April 19 France Abroad Program information center, U.C. 403, 4:10 p.m. French Wmetasting Seminar, Asa Packer Room, 7 p.m. Preregistration required. Admission $6, proof of age and Lehigh ID required. "An American in Paris" screened in Club 31, 9 p.m. Friday, April 20 "Les Grand Projects Et Beyond," lecture by Ivan Zaknic, chairman of art and architecture department, Physics 316, 4:15 p.m. Food Services unit celebrate French Week with: * Menu items with a French flair each day at the Asa Packer Room and Wood Dining Room. * A French cafe in the U.C.'s Grace Lounge Wednesday, featuring bottled French waters, hot dogs in puff pastry and a trio playing French folk and jazz. * Complementary dessert crepes at Asa Packer Room Tuesday and at Wood Room Thursday. * Complementary bread and cheese table at Wood Room Tuesday and Asa Packer Room Thursday. * "French Day" in student dining rooms Wednesday, with a French flair to breakfast, lunch and dinner. >v An anniversary to remember Suzanne Kowitz' image of an ornate "125" wrapped around a silhouette of Packer Hall depicts the evolution of the university since its founding in 1865. Lehigh's 125th anniversary celebrationbegins officially July 1. Earth Week calendar Friday, April 20, noon: "Open Mike," Mart Square, poetry, music, commentary. Sunday, April 22, 5:25 a.m.: Students, , faculty, staff gather at VX Mart Square to / walk to Sand Island Earth Day sunrise ceremonies. Tuesday, April 24: Lehigh community invited to plant flowers at new park opposite Rauch Business Center on East Packer Avenue. Wednesday, April 25: All invited to ceremonies at new park. Saturday, April 28, 1 p.m.: Goodman Stadium, students, faculty and staff to plant 100 trees along creek. Mountaintop shuttle drops 2 stops The Mountaintop Bus Service stops at * Alumni Memoral Building * Mohler Lab ^^^^ were eliminated effective April 9, 1990. The stops were eliminated in order to shorten the route and allow the buses to keep to its published schedule. The decision was based on analysis of the recently completed user survey, said Chris Christian, manager of transportation services.
