Construction is expected to be completed by November, 1990. In the meantime, expect delays along this route and use alternate routes when possible. fuinixh*. ' ...To Lehigh If you use the Hill-to-Hill Bridge, be aware that Brodhead Ave. is closed between Broadway and Fourth St. Alternate route: Follow Route 378 past three traffic lights to the first flashing yellow light at Summit St.; make a left and go three blocks to Brodhead Ave. The Alumni Memorial Building is directly ahead. Motorists coming from Route 22 have several options: Exit Route 22 at Route 191. Turn left (south) on 191, which becomes Linden St. When the road ends at Church St. turn right and go one block to Center St. Turn left, following the road left onto the Fahy Bridge (stay in the right lane). Continue straight off the bridge along New St. past two traffic lights to Morton St. Turn right on Morton and travel one-and-a-half blocks to Brodhead Ave. Turn left; the Alumni Memorial Building is a block- and-a-half ahead on the left. Or: Exit Route 22 at Route 512. Proceed south on Route 512 to traffic light at Washington Ave. Make a right, then take the first left at New St. Follow New St. south to Church St., make a right and immediately bear left; follow the road around to Fahy Bridge and proceed to campus as above. Motorists coming from 1-78 should use the Hellertown exit. At the exit turn left onto Route 412 and drive through Hellertown about one mile to traffic light at Water St. (becomes Friedensville Road); turn right and travel a half- mile to traffic island; bear right onto Mountain Drive South at the entrance to the Goodman Campus. Follow Mountain Drive to the top of South Mountain and descend on Mountain Drive North. Take the second left after the first stop sign. Follow the road to the first fork and bear right. Bear right around the next curve, then at the bottom of the incline (the green-painted Taylor College is in front of you), bear left. At the stop sign at the gate turn left; bear right at the first intersection and follow the curve around to the stop sign. Make a left; at the next stop sign turn left again. The Alumni Memorial Building is at your left. Parking lot is behind the building. .From Lehigh Leaving campus to the north from the Alumni Memorial Building, make a right on Brodhead Ave., then the second right onto Morton St. Make the second left onto New St. (at the stop sign). Follow New St. straight across the Fahy Bridge, and bear right off the bridge before the traffic light. Follow this road around the curve to the traffic light. Proceed straight on Center St, which becomes Route 512, and follow about three miles to the Route 22 interchange. Alternate Route to the North Side To use the Minsi Trail Bridge, avoid the congestion in the 4th and Brodhead area by accessing 3rd St. via Taylor or Polk streets from Packer Ave. Turn right on 3rd St. and follow to the bridge on the left.
